Homestead Construction began in 1981, when founder John Schneider set out to build a company rooted in craftsmanship and integrity. What started as a small, family-run siding and window business in Knoxville grew steadily through word of mouth and trust earned on every job site.

Over the years, Homestead became known across East Tennessee for quality work, honest communication, and crews who treated every home as if it were their own. Today, the next generation carries that legacy forward. John’s son, Brandon Schneider, now leads day-to-day operations alongside a dedicated team that includes long-time project managers and office staff.
